About this tool

This free statistics viewer shows the complete public performance data of any YouTube video in one clean report: total views, likes, comment count, exact upload date and time, video duration, and the computed like-to-view ratio.

Raw numbers only tell part of the story - the ratios reveal the truth. A video with 100K views and 8K likes (8% ratio) is dramatically outperforming one with 1M views and 20K likes (2%). This tool computes those ratios instantly so you can spot genuinely engaging content versus videos that were pushed by ads or clickbait.

Researchers and creators use this to benchmark competitors, evaluate potential collaboration partners, verify influencer claims before sponsorship deals, and track how specific videos in their niche perform over time.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see the dislike count?

YouTube removed public dislike counts from its API in December 2021. No tool can show real dislike numbers anymore - browser extensions that claim to are showing estimates based on user samples, not actual data.

How fresh are the statistics?

The data comes from the official YouTube API and is cached for up to 2 hours. View counts on YouTube itself also update with a delay, so small differences from what you see on the watch page are normal.

What's a good like-to-view ratio?

Around 3-4% is typical for a healthy video. Above 5% indicates strong audience approval. Educational and niche-community videos often exceed 8%, while broad viral content typically lands at 1-2% because casual viewers rarely like.

Can I check statistics for private or unlisted videos?

Private videos: no - their data isn't accessible through any public API. Unlisted videos: yes, if you have the URL, since unlisted videos are technically public to anyone with the link.
