About the Title Case Converter
What it does
Title capitalization is a small detail that signals professionalism - and getting it right by hand is annoying. This converter transforms any text between five formats instantly: proper Title Case (with correct minor-word rules), Sentence case, UPPERCASE, lowercase, and Capitalize Each Word.
Who uses it, and why
Proper Title Case follows the convention style guides agree on: capitalize the first and last words plus all major words, but keep short conjunctions, articles, and prepositions (a, an, the, of, to, in, for...) lowercase. 'How to Grow on YouTube in 2026' - not 'How To Grow On YouTube In 2026'. This tool knows the rules so you don't have to.
How it works
For YouTube specifically, consistent title formatting across your channel builds visual brand recognition in suggested feeds. Whether you choose Title Case or Sentence case matters less than picking one and staying consistent - this tool makes either effortless.

Frequently asked questions
Should YouTube titles use Title Case or Sentence case?
There's no ranking difference - it's pure branding. Title Case ('The Best Camera for Beginners') reads slightly more polished and is most common among big channels; Sentence case ('The best camera for beginners') reads more casual and conversational. Pick one and use it consistently.
Which words stay lowercase in Title Case?
Short 'minor words': articles (a, an, the), coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet), and prepositions of three letters or fewer (of, to, in, on, at, by, for). The first and last words are always capitalized regardless.
Do ALL CAPS titles get more clicks on YouTube?
Selective caps on ONE emphasis word can lift CTR ('I Tried This for 30 DAYS'), but full ALL-CAPS titles consistently test as spammy and can depress clicks from older audiences. Use the UPPERCASE output for single words, not whole titles.
Does this handle acronyms correctly?
Yes - common acronyms and brand capitalizations (YouTube, AI, SEO, USA, iPhone-style patterns) are preserved rather than being lowercased by the conversion rules.
